Timothée Calame is a Swiss photographer, filmmaker and screenwriter living in Montpellier.
After a bachelor in History and Philosophy in the University of Strasbourg (2017), Timothée Calame worked in a farm, tought french in college and learned self-taught to direct music clips and short-movies with his friend Hugues Beauregard
In 2020, he moves to Paris to follow a master in History and Esthetics of Cinema in the University of Nanterre. Besides his academic studies, he works as an assistant in Studio Jacques, a photo studio in Paris XI. That's where he learns light and photo techniques. He continues writing and co-directing self-produced short-movies.
In 2022, he moves to Montpellier where he develops an activity of photographer and screenwriter. In 2024, he integrates the Cité Européenne des Scénaristes with which he collaborates with Blacksheep, France TV, Studio TF1 and TF1 in fiction.
In 2025, Timothée goes in residency in Contis to write a comedy serie of climate anticipation with Lou-Anna Reix. He continues to write short-movies with his accomplice Hugues Beauregard
He works as a photographer, capturing conferences, commercials, portraits, weddings and developping his own arts questioning photography as a way to represent reality and surreality.
Timothée likes writing comedy and political plots. He also likes to capture the world and its inhabitants with his camera.
